AI Usage Policy
The Journal of Digital health & telemonitoring advances (DHTA) acknowledges the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and manuscript development. The journal is dedicated to ensuring ethical use, transparency, and accountability in all submitted work.
Use of AI Tools by Authors
Authors may utilize AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms) for purposes like language refinement, organizing ideas, or initial drafting. However:
- AI tools cannot be credited as authors
- Any use of AI must be clearly declared in the manuscript
- Authors are entirely responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the final content
Disclosure Requirement
When AI tools are used, authors should include a statement in their manuscript, for example:
“AI-based tools were used to assist in language improvement and structuring of the manuscript. The authors accept full responsibility for the content.”
Prohibited Uses
- Submitting content generated by AI without proper human verification is not allowed
- Creating false data, citations, or findings using AI is strictly forbidden
- Any unethical use of AI that compromises research integrity is prohibited
Use of AI by Reviewers
- Reviewers must not share or upload manuscripts to AI systems that store or reuse information
- Confidentiality of all submitted materials must be strictly maintained
Editorial Use of AI
Editors may apply AI tools for limited operational support (such as similarity checks or workflow assistance). However, all editorial judgments and decisions are made independently by human editors.
Compliance
Non-compliance with this policy, including عدم disclosure or misuse of AI tools, may lead to:
- Rejection of the submission
- Withdrawal or retraction of published work
