Author Guidelines for Journal of Ethics in Emerging Technologies & Society (JEETS):

  • Authors should first review the Aims & Scope to confirm their manuscript's suitability.

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using the provided Microsoft Word template, adhering to formatting, citation, and ethical standards.

  • Authors must ensure all co-authors approve the submission and agree on the content.

  • Types of Publications:

    • Regular Articles: Typically 5000-10,000 words, including empirical, conceptual, and review papers. Empirical papers should have introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion sections.

    • Practice Papers: 2000-3000 words focusing on practical applications of ethics and technology; less theoretical but must include references.

    • Policy Perspective Papers: Concise updates on research areas.

    • Literature Reviews: 1500-2500 words offering critical insights, not just summaries.

    • Book Reviews: Critical engagement with books on ethics and technology.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.

  • Ethical compliance including adherence to the Declaration of Helsinki is required for studies involving humans.

  • Manuscripts should present accurate and original work; plagiarism, fabrication, and duplicate publication are prohibited.

  • Raw data should be available for editors and reviewers if requested.

  • Manuscripts undergo initial editorial checks for compliance and ethical standards before double-blind peer review by experts.

  • Reviewers are selected to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure fair assessment.
