Aim & Scope
Quantum Frontiers Journal (QFJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering quantum science and technology. It publishes theory, experiment and engineering across quantum computing, communication, sensing and materials, as well as work on the foundations of quantum mechanics itself.
The field is moving from laboratory demonstrations toward useful machines, and the journal follows that shift. We welcome papers that make a quantum idea clearer, a device more reliable or an application more realistic, and we ask authors to explain their results so that readers outside their sub-field can follow them.
Scope
We welcome original research articles, reviews, short communications and case-based studies in areas including:
- Quantum computing: algorithms, architectures and error correction
- Quantum information theory and quantum communication
- Quantum cryptography and secure networks
- Quantum sensing, metrology and imaging
- Quantum simulation of physical and chemical systems
- Quantum materials, superconductors and topological phases
- Quantum optics and photonics
- Foundations of quantum mechanics
