Smart medication dispensing and telepharmacy systems are emerging as critical components of modern digital health infrastructure, particularly for aging populations, chronic disease patients, and individuals residing in remote or underserved regions. This study proposes a comprehensive framework integrating automated medication dispensing technologies, telepharmacy support, adherence monitoring analytics, and secure communication protocols to enhance medication safety, efficiency, and accessibility. The research examines key system components, evaluates operational workflows, identifies implementation barriers, and evaluates clinical and economic benefits. Through a combination of case study insights, data analysis, and structured evaluation tools, the study outlines best practices for deploying scalable and patient-centric remote drug management systems. The findings demonstrate that smart dispensing devices combined with pharmacist-led teleconsultation significantly improve medication adherence, reduce dosing errors, and optimize pharmacy workforce distribution, presenting a sustainable model for the future of digital therapeutics.
