The aim and scope of the Journal of Circular Economy Innovations center on publishing research that advances both theoretical knowledge and practical application within the circular economy landscape.

Aim

The journal strives to provide actionable insights for businesses, policymakers, and practitioners to promote the transition to circular systems. Manuscripts are evaluated on their potential impact, methods, and implications for circular economy practice, aiming to bridge academic theory with real-world solutions.

Scope

  • The scope covers research articles, reviews, and perspectives related to all aspects of the circular economy, including supply chains, eco-design, innovation management, digital technologies, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Articles must address implications for moving from linear to circular models, supporting sustainable resource use and closed-loop systems.

  • Interdisciplinary contributions are welcomed, spanning business, public policy, engineering, social sciences, and more.

  • The journal accepts research articles (3,500–6,000 words), reviews (4,500–6,000 words), and perspectives (800–1,000 words), with flexibility for longer submissions as needed.
