The Journal of Circular Economy Innovations is committed to maintaining transparent and accessible copyright and licensing practices that clearly define ownership, publication rights, reuse permissions, distribution conditions, and attribution requirements for scholarly works published by the journal.

5. Third-Party Copyrighted Material

Authors are responsible for identifying and obtaining permission for any third-party copyrighted materials included in their manuscripts.

Third-party materials may include:

  • Maps.

  • Questionnaires.

  • Software.

  • Datasets.

  • Previously published materials.

The Creative Commons license applied to the article does not automatically apply to third-party materials that are separately credited or governed by different licensing conditions.

6. Open Access and Licensing

The journal supports open-access dissemination of scholarly research.

Open access means that readers can access published articles without subscription barriers; however, copyright protection remains applicable.

The CC BY 4.0 license enables broad reuse of published research while requiring appropriate attribution to the original creators.

The use of artificial intelligence tools does not remove author responsibility for verifying originality, ownership, accuracy, and lawful use of submitted materials.

9. Self-Archiving and Repository Sharing

Authors may share eligible versions of their manuscripts through institutional repositories, subject repositories, academic webpages, or other permitted scholarly platforms in accordance with journal policies and the applicable Creative Commons license.

Where the published Version of Record is shared, authors should provide appropriate citation information and a link to the official journal publication.

10. Corrections, Retractions, and Publication Record

Corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, and other editorial notices form part of the permanent scholarly record.

Users sharing published articles should not remove or conceal information relating to formal corrections, retractions, or editorial updates.

The journal maintains transparency regarding changes to published content.
