AI Usage Policy

The Journal of responsible AI & ethics (JRAIE) recognizes the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in research and manuscript preparation. The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and accountability in scholarly publishing.

Use of AI Tools by Authors

Authors may use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies) to assist in language editing, idea structuring, or preliminary drafting. However:

  • AI tools must not be listed as authors
  • Authors must fully disclose any use of AI tools in the manuscript
  • Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the content

Disclosure Requirement

If AI tools are used, authors must include a statement in the manuscript such as:

“AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) were used for language editing and content structuring. The authors take full responsibility for the content.”

Prohibited Uses

  • AI-generated content must not be submitted without proper human review
  • Fabrication of data, references, or results using AI is strictly prohibited
  • AI tools must not be used in a way that violates ethical standards

Use of AI by Reviewers

  • Reviewers must not upload manuscripts to AI tools that retain or reuse data
  • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts

Editorial Use of AI

Editors may use AI tools for administrative purposes (such as plagiarism detection or workflow support), but editorial decisions are made solely by human editors.

Compliance

Failure to disclose AI usage or misuse of AI tools may result in:

  • Rejection of the manuscript
  • Retraction of published articles
