No-Fee Open Access Publishing Policy
The Journal of Responsible AI & Ethics (JRAIE) follows a transparent and equitable open-access publishing model and does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, evaluation, peer review, or publication. The journal is committed to removing financial barriers and supporting wider participation in scholarly communication.
All manuscripts submitted to JRAIE are assessed exclusively on the basis of their academic merit, originality, research quality, methodological appropriateness, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope. The availability of funding or the financial status of authors does not affect editorial decisions.

No Hidden Charges Policy
JRAIE does not apply any additional or hidden charges during the publication process. Authors are not required to pay for:
- Manuscript submission
- Editorial screening
- Peer-review management
- Publication processing
- Online availability
- Article access
- PDF viewing or downloading
- Standard publication services
Any author-requested improvements related to language quality, formatting, data presentation, or manuscript preparation remain the responsibility of authors and are not considered publication fees.
Editorial Independence and Fee Neutrality
Editorial decisions at JRAIE are completely independent of financial considerations. Manuscripts are accepted or rejected based on scholarly evaluation, research contribution, ethical standards, and editorial assessment. The journal’s zero-fee publishing model does not influence the quality standards or review procedures applied to submitted manuscripts.
Waiver and Discount Policy
As JRAIE currently operates under a complete no-fee publishing model, authors are not required to request APC waivers or discounts. The journal does not apply region-based, institution-based, membership-based, or priority publication charges.
Funding Disclosure
Authors are required to disclose any financial support, grants, institutional assistance, or other resources that contributed to the research. Funding information, where applicable, should be transparently reported in the published article.
If the research has received no external financial support, authors may provide a statement such as:
"This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors."
Policy on Future Fee Changes
JRAIE reserves the right to review its publication policies in the future. Any change related to publication charges will be communicated transparently on the official journal website before implementation.
Any revised fee policy will apply only to manuscripts submitted after the effective date of the revised policy. Manuscripts already under consideration before such changes will continue according to the policy applicable at the time of submission.
