The Journal of responsible AI & ethics (JRAIE) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes:
- Use of others’ work without proper citation
- Close paraphrasing without acknowledgment
- Self-plagiarism (reuse of previously published work without disclosure)
- Use of AI-generated content without proper disclosure
Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin prior to peer review.

Manuscripts exceeding acceptable similarity limits are subject to editorial review
- A similarity level above 20% may lead to rejection or revision requests
Author Responsibilities
Authors must:
- Ensure originality of their work
- Properly cite all sources
- Disclose the use of AI tools in manuscript preparation
Consequences of Plagiarism
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected
- If detected after publication, the article may be retracted
- Authors’ institutions may be notified if necessary
Reporting and Investigation
The journal encourages reporting of suspected plagiarism. All cases are investigated in accordance with established ethical guidelines.
